Posted by u/coffeenascar 4 hours ago CEO buys expensive cars but gets angry at soap I'm in charge of buying supplies for the office. We were out of kitchen soap so I go to the same website I always do and get soap it was under $10 for a larger bottle. Next day I get a note from boss wanting to talk. He claims we aren't a big company and even if we were soap is still a Walmart item and to let him know next time we need it. Makes me promise. it won't ever happen again. Made a huge deal out of it l

I've been pettily emailing him for anything I see Walmart sells and asking if I should buy it or not. But like come on dude you are buying a car 7 times my salary but wanna lecture me on soap.

a-base · 3 hr. ago That unauthorized soap purchase has severely compromised his new car plans. He'll have to wait minutes - maybe even hours - to earn it back. Whatever lecture he gave you, it clearly wasn't sufficient to instill in you the sense of regret and shame that you should be feeling right how.

NeilPork 3 hr. ago He uses the car. He doesn't use the soap. If this was soap for his personal bathroom, I doubt he'd have a problem.

Supergoid 2 hr. ago Oh he would. He'd be furious you bought the BIG BOTTLE for $10. $25 for the small luxury hand lotion is where its at for the bossman. Boutique soap, none of this BULK peasant soap...

matt95110 3 hr. ago Reminds me of a CEO at a company I used to work at that decided one day he wanted to tackle the cost of milk and cream for the coffee. It was a great use of everyone's time.

The parents just didn't trust the other house yet. No to eating too much dessert? They knew you'd get a stomach ache. So now he's the adult and says no to random power trip. for a
